Oh Jess, I am with you on that one. Every now and then fight takes flight and then flight is the way. Then usually Dr. Monkey or MattyBoy say something inspiring that make me want to stay.
It is sort of why I remain in my church... I will not be kicked away from the table by those who dominate it.
So I guess I will apply that thought here for myself and for you too if you wish.
I used to work for a psych hospital in Illinois as an admissions counselor. When we did intake with someone, the most typical reason for inpatient admission was feelings of helplessness and hopelessness.
Considering the way things are going here in the U.S. and the general malaise cast over us, I think we should all just check in somewhere nice and quiet for a while.
I am going to try to be positive like our new President-Elect Obama. But I have this whole box full o' snark and I'm afraid I'm going to have to use it. Sorry, President O. In your second administration I'll play nice, 'kay?

As I have said before, it can happen here.
What is wrong with us as a nation???

Another country could do the trick.
I am with dcup on that one, I'm sad to say. The right seems to have stolen the American language.
I still like the sky above us, though.
Keep posting. You make it easier to take.
