The Huckster

This is a little hard to keep straight, but I will try.

Mike Huckabee said he was an upright godly man who would never run nasty attack ads against his opponents.

The Huck then showed a roomful of reporters just one such ad he would never dare to run because it was too negative.

Then, it turns out the negative attack ad actually did run several times just before the Iowa caucus.

Here's the clincher: at the end of the ad the Huck says "If a man’s dishonest to obtain a job, he’ll be dishonest on the job. Iowans deserve better."

I'm telling you, these people have no grasp of either irony or hypocrisy.

The baby Jesus is weeping, Michael.

Mitt Romney had no executions while he was in office!!?!?!

That is certainly a good reson to not vote for Romney. How ungodlike! Baby Jesus is indeed weeping. Baby Jesus loves him some executions, yessireebob.

Huckabee knows personally how much Baby Jesus loves executions, he said so in a radio program.

No executions?

Gun control?

Abortion co-pay?

I'd vote for Romney if that was all I knew.

Well, he does have a point. Iowans do deserve better, but they keep voting for asshats who aren't better. So in a way, he's just giving them what they want.

I just watched his concession speech in NH.

I was talking to a friend of mine who is in the know about politics. We spoke of the ad too mean to show, but let me show it at a press conference and oops it did air a few times ad...

She said that is the handiwork of GOP master mind Ed Rollins.

Makes sense.

He claimed no executions occurred but the state gave co-pays for abortion?

That's like saying the 2001 murder total for NY City was lower than the 2000 figure -- if you don't count the 2,700 killings in the World Trade Center.
