Real Quotes by Rapidly Fading Politicians
h/t Buzzflash, who may be thinking this was said recently. It was not. Nosferatiuliani's comments were made a mere 7 years prior to 9/11.

Rudy wants to remind you he did not fade on 9/11. And that quotes on 9/11 were quotable. Also he wants you to know that his 9/11 has 9/11ed your 9/11. Okay, that's 9/11 for you.
Dr m ---- it is 9:11 as i post this -- do i turn into a Judi
Yeah - That's what all the pod people say. Where is Peter Graves when you need him?
Actually, this is Rudy channeling Hegel. I like a lot of Hegel's ideas, though his writing as translated from the German is awfully damn hard to wade through.
Hegel put it a little smoother. Since we live in a society, there are things we can't do because they infringe on others. By Hegel's view, the "most free" individual would be the person whose personal moral code most closely resembled the laws of the land. If the law says you can't commit murder, but you have no interest in committing murder, this is no serious constraint on you.
The way Rudy put it, he thinks the laws ARE a straitjacket on everybody and everybody has to wear it. What happened to the idea that the people's representatives make the laws in a democracy?
Sorry, I forgot. Money happened.
How did he ever get elected in NYC?
