That wasn't spittle! It was the final remnants of that giant sucking sound that Ross Perot's warned us about...
Dammit, that's what we need, a reality teevee show with presidential losers! McCain, Dole, Perot, Gore, Dukakis, Bush the Smarter. Tell me that wouldn't be the worst show of all time.

Two thoughts - One, at the RNC, even when mentioned, which was extremely rare, Bush was often "the President." As several commenters noted, he was He Who Shall Not Be Named.
