You have made an awesome graphic. Now if I can just find some mistletoe made out of plastic explosives...

"Here comes Guernica, here comes Guernica, right down Guernica lane! The bombs and the blood plus the hate not the love makes us go insane!"

Guernica is a piece of art that caused me to weep when I stood before it. Your take on it, as it did last year, makes me want to send it to everyone.

Each morning I read a book by Richard Rohr, some filthy hippy Franciscan who barely escapes being thrown out of the RC church for his truth telling. Today's entry was about the 10th commandment and how you never hear the church talk about that...

You shall not covet your neighbor's goods. Seems pretty clear.

But where would capitalism be if anyone actually paid attention to that commandment?

We have so little money this year that we will do so little shopping. And honestly I think it will be the best Christmas yet.

The only thing I can even get excited about is the war against it!

Jess, this is the first time I've seen Guernica used as a Christmas theme. I like it. Way to go!

So, where do you stand on the war on the war on the war on the war on christmas?

Me, I'll be celebrating Hogswatch and praying to Bilious, the Oh God of Hangovers, this year.

The Christmas season is fucking exhausting.
Between the parties and the fattening food and drink and the shopping and wrapping and delivering and the rest of the hassle, I am so exhausted by Jan. 1, I just want to hide at home alone in silence.
Ho Ho fucking Ho.

An excellent Christmas card, one that should be sent to every battle station on the Kringle front.
