I think the Packer management did the right thing.

Hey, it's not a popular opinion, but then I recently got up the guts to announce my true hidden feelings about the Beatles.

Talk amongst yourselves. I'll berate your dumb opinion love to see what y'all've got to say when I get back.

(Time for some vacation).

I'm with you on the Beatles, but not on this. Enjoy the mellow brain drain on the couch. Unless you're going somewhere, then enjoy the mellow brain drain on an extra fancy couch.

Personally, I will miss Favre. He's more fun to watch than most football players and he clearly enjoys playing the game. Picture this story - the Jets win the Super Bowl and the Packers don't make the playoffs. The media will love it. If that should come to pass, I wonder if Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy will still have jobs next year? Still, it's only football.

He's just too old. I've never been a fan of athletes or coaches who, instead of going out on a high note, linger well past their prime until they are a pale shadow of themselves.

When was the last time the Jets even made it to the Super Bowl? I'm thinking Joe Namath... long time.

I'm still trying to figure out exactly what happened with all that. I'm a little perplexed, you see, because here in Chicago we don't have controversies involving star quarterbacks.

We just have controversies involving quarterbacks who suck.
