I'm listening to Clinton supporters on Face the Nation right now swearing that Hillary Clinton has played by the rules throughout this campaign. Excuse me? Clinton has tried from Nevada on, to try to change the rules as long as that benefits her. Obama did the right thing in Michigan by not putting his name on the ballot. Mandy Grunewald, Clinton's media advisor, just said "Too bad, so sad, that was his choice". And then she stuck her tongue out. Okay, I kid, those were not her exact words, but the effect was the same.
These people spin like republicans.
Please, Hillary. Stop. You are killing us.

I find this whole matter very distressing. Hillary has become Veruca Salt.
She has played by her made up rules and changes them as she goes along much of the time.
Which is very much like all politics these days.
Dr. Z I like the newer version of Veruca, the one who wants a Squirrr-Ellll. And whatever happened to that band?
franiam Honestly, that's why I'm supporting Obama. He's been consistent. Hillary is James Baker in a freaking pantsuit. Same ol' same ol'.
And Bill Clinton is ringing the "Nobody asked Jesse Jackson to drop out" bell, except that Jesse did, indeed concede. Also, nobody asked Lyndon Johnson to drop out but he did because he felt that for the good of the country he should.
she has changed the rules, the mantra, the pr spin, the game, the goal posts -- more times than lucy put the football down
it shows me what kind of president hillary would make
Agreed. It truly is distressing.
We live in a postmodern world where reality is malleable.
Sigh.
I have my reservations about Obama, but Clinton seems to have gone off the deep end. At least Obama still appears to be sane and is (mostly) avoiding stooping to the tactics employed by Clinton and McCain/Bush.
