There is much to be ashamed about.
But I want to be able to hold my head high and say that I am an American.
Not hide underneath a Canadian flag that so many tourists use when they are traveling about so that they will not have to evade criticism.

The juxtaposition of certain things can give painful perspective.
This is such provocative material and I mean that in the best of ways.
When someone I know yells at me saying that the war protects a good way of life, I will be reminded of the big boobs, the overfull shopping cart and that most tragic overweight child photo in McDonald's.
The war protects shit, that is what the war protects.
