When someone I know yells at me saying that the war protects a good way of life, I will be reminded of the big boobs, the overfull shopping cart and that most tragic overweight child photo in McDonald's.

There is much to be ashamed about.
But I want to be able to hold my head high and say that I am an American.
Not hide underneath a Canadian flag that so many tourists use when they are traveling about so that they will not have to evade criticism.
