Dr. Z, thanks for your concern. I am a little stiff. My 4yo was in the car and is fine. What happened is I rear-ended an SUV on a very busy road right next to a very busy mall. I will be without my car for a while which is just about the worst of it. Really, the man I hit was very nice and he listed a string of things that could have been worse about the whole deal, like 'it's not zero degrees out' and 'at least there was no chain reaction' and so on.
4yo may use the term "fukfukfukfukfuk" next time something bad happens, tho.
Whew, I was going to ask if you or one of the cheese nips were hurt but I read your comment above. I'm glad you and the 4 yr old are okay. Cars are just things that can be fixed or replaced but you and the kid are originals we need to keep around a lot longer. Be careful out there!
Yikes, at least you guys are okay! In the future, I suggest winning the lottery so, during this lunatic season, you can have someone do your shopping for you!
I'm so glad you and the 'nip are okay! I've come close a couple of times this winter, but fortunately I'm guessing the drivers in front of me heard my screaming of the ever-popular fukfukfukfukfukfuk and sped up. Whew.
Enjoy your holiday, and the car will be fine--it's fixable. But you and the 'nip are not, so again--glad you're both okay.
Ditto all of the above. Those just before Christmas car accidents are just the best, aren't they? I was rear ended by an SUV on just about the same date 3 years ago. Poor Mr. Ether was at home in bed with a barfing flu, while I dashed out to probably the same mall for some shopping. I had to wake him up and inform him when we got home.
I am going to try to be positive like our new President-Elect Obama. But I have this whole box full o' snark and I'm afraid I'm going to have to use it. Sorry, President O. In your second administration I'll play nice, 'kay?

Ack! Are you OK? I hope you are alright and that nobody was hurt. Was it serious? You didn't give us any details!
Nice graphic, by the way. I have always liked pictures of brains.

Sorry to hear that, Jess. But glad you're all OK. Best of luck navigating the Holidays without your vehicle!
Well, I'm glad everyone is okay.
Just for future reference, NEVER say something like "At least it's not raining." Moments later, the sky will open on cue.
