Dear President Obama*
Thank you for your bold move on Gitmo, and for declaring that our government will no longer spy on us citizens. Excellent start in your opening days.
Now I have a little request:
Please in the next few days declare the phrase "Who are you wearing" as well as the term "Ginormous" to be illegal and punishable by Ex-President Bush** era techniques.
I thank you in advance for your consideration of these important issues,
Yours in peace and democracy,
Jess Wundrun.

The only way "who are you wearing" should be acceptable is if the answer is "the skins of my dead enemies".
Couldn't agree more! That phrase (and also ginormous, now that you mention it) is getting on my last nerve!
Wow--still pondering Bubs' comment.
He's my hero.
Ooooh, somebody has their Calvin Klein knickers in a twist....
Human makes a good spring jacket.
Now I'm going to have Silence of the Lambs nightmares thanks to your commenters.
Please add to that request the phrase "also too."
Should at least be a Class C misdemeanor.
And "and also," Zipdrive. That's a killer. While we're at it, let's also have him make it a crime to say "nukular" -- perhaps THEN we can prosecute Chimpy.
Hey! I have heard Rachel Maddow use the word "Ginormous" several times. That make it officially a legitimate word in my book. I mean, she's the MSM, right? ;o)
War on Hipsters?! What will they think of next?
What a sense of relief I fell lately!
dear media
never cover bush again
please
regards.....
Miss you, Jess! You must still be busy cleaning up at work after that repug dick guy finally got canned.
Would it be possible to make it illegal to refer to Donald Rumsfeld as anything but Rummy Squint from now on?
Jess, will you send me your email address?
Hope you are well!
Love, Freida
Believe what you want, but Geithner showed major weaknesses.
His plan is not a plan. He knew he had no plan. Whey then, did Obama state that Geithner would deliver a "shovel-ready" plan on Tuesday?
Obama and Geithner are operating on different planets.
If Geithner wanted to take another month or two to craft a plan, the O-conomy would have gotten along.
However, Obama says catastrophe is about to strike if unless we act now. Do something immediately, something, anything, but do it now.
Obama is now in full messianic mode and Geithner has shown that it takes a lot longer than two weeks to develop plans -- which are unlikely to work as advertized, since Geithner has no free-market experience and is not seeking advice from those who have it.
I think Jess is out in the field shedding the blood of the hipsters.
What was this "bold move" on GITMO? What did I miss? He's set a target of a year to close it but has suspended military tribunals. As bad as they were, what if your case were to be heard next week? You wouldn't be too happy about it. What is the plan once the year is up? He does not say whether it will be a military trial on-shore or a hybrid but it certainly won't be an on-shore criminal trial and it may well be extraordinary rendition for all. That's bold alright. It's more sadistic than the Bush policy!
Was a bill overriding the amended FISA law introduced in the House or Senate? I must have missed that one then. So, what happened, he SAID the government is no longer spying on US citizens? OK...that's nice. Where even is the executive order requiring all law enforcement agencies return to the pre-9/11 wiretap rules with a special INCLUSION of protect of wireless communications privacy?
Dude, I don't even live in the US and the US is recording every single cellphone call made into or out of my country. And you really believe your calls aren't being recorded? The only difference is that any evidence obtained that way is inadmissible in courts here and there is no extradition with the US, so this is just make-work for the CIA to fill up government hours.
Americans, however, have no such protections. Everything's admissable in US courts.
I
WHO am I wearing? Nibs and Cookie, our deceased guinea pigs? Hey, times are hard!
And honey, I'm with you all the way on "ginormous".
